Blindnesses for percussion quartet and electronics

In Blindnesses, four percussionists play a single vibraphone, executing a precise and intimate choreography that creates delicate and intricate musical textures. Live electronics respond to and manipulate the sounds of the vibraphone in subtle and strange ways. It was commissioned by the Los Angeles Percussion Quartet.

The download comes with a PDF score (players read from score) and the Max patch needed for the live electronics. The electronics can be controlled by a separate performer/technician, or by one of the percussionists.
